Intentional Parenting

Intentional Parenting is all about raising children with mindfulness, empathy, and purpose. Here, I share my journey of nurturing emotional intelligence, fostering independence, and creating meaningful connections with my son—one intentional choice at a time.

Raising Kids with Purpose and Presence

Libertation + Legacy

My Parenting Philosphy

Parenting, for me, is an act of liberation and legacy. I’m not just raising a child—I’m raising a whole human, one who will shape the world as much as he learns from it. With Bennett*, every day is a chance to nurture curiosity, emotional fluency, and cultural pride. It’s not just about meeting needs—it’s about honoring his identity, guiding his growth, and being deeply present for all of it.

I believe in parenting that’s conscious, not performative. That means being attuned to the little things—the repeated stories, the tiny hands reaching for mine, the quiet “why?” before bed. These are the moments that build trust. These are the moments that shape a sovereign child.

Intentional parenting isn’t about perfection. It’s about offering freedom with loving boundaries, structure with flexibility, and support without control. I want Bennett to feel rooted in who he is and wildly open to who he can become.

I’m building a home—and a life—where empathy is modeled, resilience is taught, and mindfulness is practiced. Because when our children feel seen, safe, and sovereign, they rise into their fullness. And I wouldn’t trade this work for anything.
